The in-app category is called Club Night, and it exists for one very specific problem: the 34-message “where are we going Saturday?” that ends with nobody going anywhere. A nightlife community is one persistent group for the going-out crowd — venue decided by poll, headcount visible, logistics said once.
“Rooftop first or straight to the dance floor?” — the bars fill as the votes land, and the poll lives in the group chat with the aftermovie, the cab-share voices and the “I'm leaving in ten” messages. If the plan changes at 11 pm, everybody in the community sees it at 11:00:01, because this is a real-time messenger.
Nightlife groups usually run invite-only or ask-to-join, and the admin controls are real: promote someone to organise a night off you, remove the guy who brings plus-ones, and know the last admin can't be locked out because the app won't let them. Open groups exist too, for city-wide “find a crew tonight” communities — the live member count tells you which is which before you tap join.

The live demo above recreates the real community poll screen from the app's own type and tokens — vote bars fill as the poll runs. A production screenshot of this exact screen has not been captured yet; when it is, it drops in here (see app/web/assets/images/).
