Study groups are where +one's community model fits student life best: one persistent group per subject, batch or exam, instead of a course WhatsApp that died in week two. Create or join a Study Group community on the Discover grid — cards show the live member count, so twenty-person groups and one-person graveyards are easy to tell apart.

The actual work fits the tools: mock-test slots decided by poll (“Sat 8 am, library room 2” versus “Sun 6 pm, on call”), sheets and slides dropped in the shared group, 2 am panic questions answered by whoever's still awake. Voice notes carry the explanations that are painful to type. And for the material nobody should keep forever, per-message disappearing ink deletes the leaked question bank for everyone at once.

Most course groups are invite-only — the class rep holds the +one/c/… link and rotates it after exams so next year's batch starts clean. Open study communities work like a library seat: anyone at your campus can join, see the member count, and show up to the session.
